Out 4wd the other day i coped some damage to the underbody. to be exact its the part that the front lower control arms attach to and the front diff sits onto with a bush. im assuming this common damage to vitaras as it is the lowest spot . Wonder how to best fix this as it is welded to the chassis. Could use some help guys .

Pics? There isn't much you can do apart from trying to straighten it & putting on some bash plates.

thats wat i thought :s its prity bad on the right side where the right lower control arm attaches its bent prity close to it . im talking millimeters

Flog it with a big hammer until its straight enough to bolt on a skid plate. :?

its gona take me like 10 years to do but ill see how i go tomorrow . wats some bash plates worth and the best place to get some??

eric man up and buy a sierra, lol u should of seen how bashed the front end of the hilux was when i sold it

on my old vitara i did the same thing but worse. it still drove ok, so i just hammerd it as straight as i could and hit it satin black. couldnt really tell it was there after that. always pissed me of though. itl be hard to bolt the plates up no because they use the captive nuts in that crossmember an i dare say they are folded on top of each other now.

its cause i use my 4wds for what there suppose to be used for eric lol. Im going tobe turning the sierra into a basher 4wd when i get my lisense back and buy something like what hughys got maybe.
