basically wired up an amp and sub in the vit and now the stupid handbrake light wont go out. amp and sub work fine and is all wired up properly.
iv already tried just earthing the wire to ground light still on.
also ran a scotchlocked bit of wire from where it runs out of the harness to just before switch, so wiring seems ok. then thought it could be low on brake fluid but it isnt :roll: am i missing something???

amp is under the passenger seat isnt it

you screwed through the floor didnt you

those screws are a few inches back from teh front seat crossmember arent they

youve gone through the loom under the seat that unless you pull the seat and carpet out you cant see, its a shit of a wire to rejoin too, I know, did the same thing :oops:

il go have a look now. hopefully thats the only damaged wire. cheers Royce.

There are other wires under there, cant remember what though, possibly interior light as well

i had drilled through 2 wires :oops: all good now though.

Check your brake fluid as this may course this problem as well
