Im thinking of doing a 50mm body lift to the new GV but cannot find a kit for it anywhere. It is a non airbag model so its allowed.

Who has done one and what kit did you use and from where did you get it.

It all looks quite simple to do but what have others done to sort out the steering.

Let me know if there are any things i need to look out for.

Cheers

You can do a 1" bodylift without any real mods and it can be put back if you need to.

Just get some blocks made up 8) and you still use the factory bolts and studs in the body.

There is a kit from Lowrange that is said to fit the GV. Might just get that and see how it fits and fix any problems as they happen.

I used Just_Cruizin and i had to modify it to fit, then I had to work out my own solution to the steering problem.
It may be worth talking with him as hopefully he now makes one too fit...including steering spacers.

I'm amazed at what is available for these cars now.
I only did mine 3 years ago and nothing was around. I had to search the globe even just for basic stuff.

Isn't that a bit too 'bling' for a Zook?

What have people done with the front strut setup. Is it as easy as just fitting a strut top extension, the type that just screws onto the strut shaft or is there more to it?

like this
