After having a good look at the mounts in both zooks i can see that the 1L mounts are further back towards the firewall and also sit on top of the rails.Where as the 1.3 looks like it sits between the rails more.

Is there an after market kit for the mounts i can buy?or do i have to make it?

Also will the extension shaft from the 5 speed fit onto the 1L transfer flange?

I will take some pics to explain better after dinner.

when i put a 1.3 into my 1 litre sierra i just cut the 1.3 mounts out of another sierra , then bolted the mounts to the motor then when the motor was lined up i welded them in, as for the jack shaft u could just swap the flange on the transfer so u can use the 1.3 jack shaft

I agree this is the best way to go, be aware that there are two different length jackshafts available for 1 litre sierra's depending on the year, early ones had a longer shaft.
