who can tell me the gearbox bearing and seal part numbers for a 1.3 sierra?
don't want genuine suzuki numbers, just generic bearing numbers or sizes so I can order some. just after the 6 main bearings and input and output seals, don't need needle rollers.

i'll do some reading through my special little book when i get to work for you if no one else can come up with the answer.

if my magic book can't tell me i have a rebuild kit on the shelf that i could possibly steal numbers off.

If it is a gearbox bearing noise, dont drive the bastard. I made that mistake as i couldnt be bothered rebuilding for a while, and due to incorrect tooth contact due to half collapsed bearing, the teeth are half the size and gearbox unuseable.

Probably middle lay shaft bearing, had one go in Vitara and Sierra, they seem prone to getting crap in them. I've always used Suzuki seals after a bad experience with a Miser seal in Sierra, and the seal ended up being more expensive then Suzi in the City where I got replacement, Obviously 'cause my cars been of road for 2 years I haven't been to them lately but they had a bloke there that could quote you the number of his head for the obscure part and tell you how many he had on the shelf, saved me much stress, money and time back in my Sierra days compared to some other Suzuki specialists. CBC is my friend just remember that, I got replacement bearings for Sierra with out having part numbers, how ever that was ten years ago.
