got nitros
I'll only run premium through my zook, the couple times I've had to run 91 it's guttless... I'm guessing the knock sensor is doing it's thing?

why do you think im going to the effort of driving 350km's in a car that does 90 top speed
plus my mate has a whole hotel to himself so with any luck I can catch something from a local farm girl

Change your plugs, that fixed my pinging under load.
I had some standard fare Bosch Iridiums I bought from Supacheap auto, but after changing the distributor cap, leads, oil - pinging was still there. Thought the timing might be awry.
But a guy from work suggested I try putting in some NGK's...
Problem solved, no more pinging under my hood.

mine pings its little head off and im using the NGK BP5ES plugs. gonna try some BP6E plugs as these wont heat up as much and cause as much pre ignition of the combustion fuels in the cly.
If you run low octane fuel on a regular basis then you may need to set your timing back a bit. maybe at 6*. Minee pings at everything above 2* on ULP but on 95 & 98 fuel i can set it at 6*. cam is a big problem in mine.
