hi i was wondering weather the rear pinion nut on my 91 wt has normal or reverse thread asit seems really hard to remove compaired to the front ones

I usually bolt a length of steel to the flange and then use a breaker bar and socket with a long piece of pipe.

There are 2 flats machined into the output shaft, and the nut is dented in those locations. That can make it hard to get off.

think i might try the welder idea as i do not have an oxy cheers for your input guys now to get it open an put my crawlers in.

I took mine to the local mechanic and he got em off with a rattle gun in 5 seconds flat...

I try to teach apprentices that rule to, thay still snap thing tho..
