started with making new spring perches.
then made diff braces out of cardboard, and traced them onto some
65 x65 x4 shs and cut them out .then templated some under swivel hub braces out of cardboard and got them waterjet cut out of some 10mm thick steel.then welded then on this arvo

I may be wrong but that "pumpkin protector" just looks like a thin flat piece of sheet metal tacked onto the diff to hold the bling which is pop riveted to it. The bling appears to cover the filler plug so the rivits in one piece will have to be drilled out each time you check the diff oil. I think it is more ornimental than usefull, that being said I think it looks pretty cool.

its 6mm plate cut to the same diameter as the outer of the pumpkin then has four 50mm tags bent up that are welded to the pressed radius of the pumpkin.

at first i was going to tap threads and screw the piece in over the filler, but then after looking at all the damage on the diff in my ute at the moment ,a screw with a sheered head is worse than a drilling 3 rivits. plus i dont check my diffs weekly

i honestly thought the same thing as the picture does not do the work justice, maybe show an angle shot of the side of the plate etc. would also help to get the gist of the mounts etc...
