The M8000 will physically fit between the chassis rails because it is actually smaller than the M6000 that the bar is designed for. However, the bar mounts and the Chassis itself are not good for 8000lbs of strain.

the bar will fit most warn lowmounts except for the rare 9500hs and the 'i' models (intergrated box), BUT i have a 9500hs going in mine and it seems it will just fit. the arb bar was designed and load tested for a 6000 and that is all they will warrant with them which is fair enough, but saying that we have all been running 8's and 9's with beefed up chassis mounts and have not had any dramas. in most cases the minimum strengthening will reqiure boxing of the front open section of the chassis rails taking into account the dog-leg of the bar mount. the pic of the 8000 above shows the early model, the newer ones have a wider motor and or heat sink which will take up extra room.

Hey Joe what makes the HS faster than a standard 9500lber?

Looks to be same gearing, same rated motor...maybe just lower torque higher speed motor?

I have a warn "tabor" winch in my zook bar with extra bracing to the chassis. fits fine.

Just pulled up the parts list for a closer look....man i've never seen the HS setup before. I'st stage carrier on the motor end...I''m guessing the motor shaft drives this carrier and ups the output rate...great concept....

Quick Question and sorry for the thread jack: Does the HS motor have the same mounting pattern as a 6hp motor...i.e. could you bolt a 6hp motor to the HS motor adapter? it looks to be the same.
