Fabbed up my snorkel today, just need to put the 90 degree rubber bend on the top and all done.

that looks cool. is it exhaust pipe?
how did you get the bend thru the guard?
i would love some close up pics to show the local exhaust joint.

Yea it's 2 1/2 inch exhaust pipe, i started with 1m of straight pipe and 2 90 degree mandrel bends then just cut and welded the different angles to get the bend...... took a few hours in all.

I'll grab some photos of the bend for you today sometime.

Top job mate. Unsure about the bend at the top though. It is your snorkel not mine though, as long as you like it who gives a shit 8)

that look rather tidy :D.. How did you secure it to the pillar? also, i saw you dont have any hose clamps on the silicon joins?

Yep keen eye..... yet to put the hose clamps on. As far as securing to the A pillar the snorkel has tabs welded on and it is screwed onto the pillar

What is wrong with the inlet backwards ?

I'm not 100% sure about the rubber bend at the top and it's the first time i've done it this way.... even if the rubber bend comes off the mandrel bend that will replace it will still point back.

Got mine from ebay and everything is shipped to your door...... they seem to be really good quality too. I checked supercheap and repco and they were all $50 each to.
