Im thinking of converting our lwb from 5k toyota motor and 5 speed to vit 1.6 8valve and sierra 5 speed how hard would it be to convert it back to the sierra 5 speed.

Depends on how it was done, suzi sport used to sell a bolt on kit, if it`s one of them easy!!!!!
If not, did you buy that mig??

Not very, but that depends on what has been modified to fit the 5K and box.

If you have fab skills it should be very straight forward.

The only drama I can foresee is the engine mounts depending on whether yours was a one litre or 1.3 to start with or if they were modded for the 5K.
If the mounts are original (unmodded) 1.3's then it should all bolt in with the adaptor kit.
BenT's kit is cheap but the Petroworks version is much better IMHO it also includes unbreakable engine mounts.

Well the lwb big end bearings shat themselves yesterday so driving it is out of the question but thanks for the offer. They are original 1.3 engine mounts i had a look i think ill need to fab up a new gearbox x member and get a new jack shaft as its two unis welded together basically. aswell as the adapter kit .
no i didnt get the welder few other things have come up so a welder is a while away yet lol
