Not sure if I am crosing any lines here but just wanted to word the group up on a deal I came across. I picked up a brand new 9ft camper trailer tent. With all the bits like annex and extra room for 1600 this is in brisbane and comes with a 12 month warranty. It's a Chinese import but sold by a person in a shop. quality isn't bad not the best I have seen whilst looking but acceptable for me. They said the could fit it up to my trailer for 300 or 400 bucks but being a tight ass I will have a go myself.

Brought it home and unpacked it today and will fit it up to my trailer over the weekend. They said they have a couple left as they are moving away from the smaller tents. They just used the forklift and dropped it onto my trailer and I strapped it down with some ratchet straps I recon it would have to weigh almost 200kg with all the bits.

I am not sure if I am allowed to name the company on here publicly but if someone can clarify for me or message me and I will share the company if anyone cares

I dont work for these guys but got good service and a good deal so am happy to share with anyone interested.

Only downside I can see is they are kiwis.

200 kg tent sounds pretty heavy for a zook
add 200-240kg trailer
80kg for gear
and you got a phat little tent

Yeah I could feel it behind my work car (triton twin cab ) not so much the weight but I think it was a little tail heavy maybe bouncing on the hitch a little. I just bought a NGV and I think they are limited to 85 kg tow ball weight so I want to balance it as best I can but after today I think I might want a little down force on the hitch? Any advice on this is welcome.

The tent is from nomad campers

The tow ball weight on my NGV is 120kg. I think it depends on the towbar but that is maximum.
