Hey guys n gals i have a 98 coily sierra 5 speed, the starter motor died so i parked it at home for a week, went to push start it today and if i put it in gear with the cltuch in i cant push it it feels like the clutch is out. but when its out of gear its fine, i adjusted it and still the same.
ANY IDEAS?

tried it with in out of gear? maybe your clutch died?
checked to see if your handbrake is disengaging properly?

hand brake not connected, yeah rolls fine outta gear, when its being pushed and i put the cltuch in it is still fine, but when i go to get a gear i cant, but when its stopped i have all gears,
can clutch's just die? it was fine last time i drove it,

the cable could have broken, the clutch plates can stick to the fly wheel if your using them in water.

i has only been i 1 puddle, tho it was salt. it got a major clean after tho, pulled the interior out and all. the cable is fine. hope it free's its self up then

yah i've had this before and sounds like the issue, ... it freed itself once i key started it.

spigot jammed
starter jammed
cable sloppy
all these would make the starter seem dead as well
