Hi guys I am having trouble finding a replacement front right CV shaft for my 97' SWB Vit.
I ordered one through work (Repco) which turned out to be 22 spline inner and 26 spline outer. The one I've pulled out of the car is 26 spline both sides. I've read everywhere that all Vits have a 22 spline front diff. Mine is 26 spline? Da fuq is going on?
The car was stock as a rock when I bought it so I'm a bit confused as to why I can't find a replacement.
Has anybody else had this issue? And can someone please confirm if 26/26 spline cvs exist for these cars?
Thanks

94+ have 26 spline, pre 94 is 22 spline. No one makes an aftermarket for a 26 spline and if they do 99% chance its gonna be a GV one.

I've found a shaft 26/26 the same length (Part No: NSA257) however has a tripod inner housing on it instead of round but should still fit fine, yet to fit it but will confirm if it will be correct or not as soon as it's in.

Hi guys. If anybody else has this problem the correct shaft for the 26 spline diffs on the right hand side is NSA257. It has a tripod inner housing but fits perfect and works fine. If anybody has any questions feel free to PM me.
Cheers

keep us posted on how it holds up, generally the tripod joints don't like operating at extreme angles.

Regardless of it holding up it means that we can now make stubby shafts without using a second hand shaft. Great find.

Will do, it seems to be holding up fine and no issues on full flex etc.
I'm glad I could be of help.

Shaft just broke on full lock in the mud lol. Almost lasted 12 months, although it does some pretty hardcore stuff.
