hi fellers, just wordering if anyone has put a roof top tent on the sierra and how did that go? was thinking of doing to mine

I carried mine on the roof of my old Sierra, (I was bringing it home to fit to a trailer).
I did not like the tipping feeling (mine was lifted and softly sprung)
and the wind and air resistance was terrible.
Weight was ok though.
Sold tent recently, delivered it on the roof of my Vitara.
Was fine on the Vit round town, but highway was unpleasant in the wind.

I know they hire them out with roof top tents in south africa. I reckon something similar to this poptop style tent would probably be the way to go to minimize wind resistance and weight.
