I've just noticed the mount that goes from an engine mount to the gearbox is missing bolts and no longer attached to my gearbox, Just wondering if the champion grade 8.8 high tensile bolts will be right...

you're engine isn't attached to your gearbox?? - or your gear box isnt' attached to the car?

that's pretty wild and a great saving find how'd you manage to find that out?

Sorry for the hijack, but its a similar topic. I've sheared a kingpin bolt and am chasing the dimensions to order some more from this place: http://www.boltsnutsscrewsonline.com/

My gearbox wasn't attached to the car... Funny enough I had pulled off the front wheel to check out my tie rod ends when I noticed the mount hanging down... 3 out of the 4 bolts had fallen out!!

Don't even know how I didn't see it earlier, I mean I had just finished a 300km drive pulling my trailer but it was all highway. Stocked I saw it as I wasn't even looking in the engine bay
