I have a sierra sj70, 1994 and im on the hunt for some parts, some of the bits ive found are listed under samurai I know its the same car, but would a 1988 model samurai match my sj70? im looking at a full carpet sheet at the moment. would love the help

The floor is different for samurais as they are LHD so the rail that runs across the front under the drivers seat will be on the other side.
Everything that fits a samurai will fit a sj70, provided it isn't a LHD specific part.

1988 will almost certainly be an SJ50 there's a few differences between them and SJ70s. Nothing to major though.

So generally of it's not a LHD the Matt should fit? Or will it be too small as the sj50 was more narrow than the sj70

I put a carpet set out of a SJ413 into my SJ70 Samurai, fits perfect

Body size is the same throught models.
Just some various aesthetics changed between them.
