I don't have the coin but if I did, I'd pay 7k for it. Not to be offence but 17k is a lot of coin. Like nearly brand new jimny coin.
I understand the amount of work and effort that has gone into this, but it could nearly be built for that much!
Take what I say with a grain of salt, I'd sell my jimny to buy it if the time and price was right! I do love this car!

I think it's overpriced.
In my opinion hooki's LJ was a better example of an LJ and went for a realistic price.
Yes there chalk and cheese, but I think you would of been better off just putting an injected 1.3 or 1.6 into a LJ.
As for price maybe 5-6k.

And why should someone's time and money go unnoticed in the sale price? I really don't get the offroad market, it's the only place that a car can sell for the price of, or less, than the modifications to the vehicle. Unless you put race car in the description and it's worth more. $5-7k is an insult for this car, I don't think many realise the effort that went into making this car engineered and allowed on the road. The car really is a one of a kind and it might be even harder now with NCOP to get something like this registered than ever before.

Good luck with the sale and :thefinger: to the low ballers.

Did someone say auction? I'll pay 8k. :p

Honestly though, you are going to need to find a VERY specific buyer for a VERY unique vehicle. That person needs to have both the interest as well as the cash, and in most cases people will have one and not the other. For that sort of money most people would have trouble justifying to the trouble-n-strife that it's not just a toy; all the missus will see is a 35 year old paddock basher with a paint job. I mean no offense by that of course, that's simply the situation for most people. In fact, it's exactly the situation I am in: I already have two toys in the backyard, so whatever I get next needs to be able to fool the missus into thinking that it's a "normal car" for the most part. Dropping $5-6k on a toy is one thing, but having to justify funds nearing $20k puts it right in the "why don't we buy a boat instead" category.

That said, this is a beautiful machine.

Don't take anything less then $10.000 for it. You could drive this every day of the week and then go wheeling with ease on the weekend.
If I have a big win this weekend I'll buy it.

I would think 8-9K would be reasonable for this rig. It is, by all account amazing, but realisitically, who in thier right mind would pay 17K for this, it's just not a practical daily.

I guess it's just a case of, do you "really" want to sell it? because at 17K it doesnt seem like it.

Just my 2c, I still think this is an amzing rig, a real credit to you.

Guys, Thanks for the input. Most of you understand the attachment someone can have a car that put so much time into. I have had this discussion with Hame about the very specific market that this would be aimed at. And the fact that most Suzuki owners are tight with the cash, me included.

I am too close to it to look at it objectively and Hame has invested to much in it. I understand everything everyone has said and I appreciate the fact that no one has come in with a stupid comment about it being worth $20. Zook_Fan has it right, it will be very hard to ever build something like this ever again. This is at least worth the sum of its parts.

Lets hope Kenn has a big weekend!!
