Hey Guys

Have been having an on going issue with my 1990 swb vitara the clutch has been sticking i have been adjusting the cable and this has been fixing the issue but only for a week or so i have kept doing this every time i noticed the clutch sticking i have checked the lever off the side of the bell housing as i have broken one b4 but it is fine and hasnt moved my question now is it that the clutch cable has been stretching or is my clutch plate gone. i have now run out of adjustment on my cable and need to fix

hope this makes sense lol

Cheers Alex

I'd be sticking a cable in before you do anything else

The cable is not affected by the type of loads you haul, rather the resistance of the clutch pressure plate.

Mine was starting to grind in the sheath, so I removed the cable from teh vehicle and sprayed heaps of Lanoline grease down the cable. Has improved it immensely.
