Hi all!, before anyone starts about CALMINI, it's no!...for now anyway.
i have seen a few sellers on fleabay selling coil spacers and all rave about their product being the best  ..
i am steering towards those things for now as i want to lift it as cheap as i can as i'd like to see howmuch it's gonna cost me to build a good offroad performer on a budget....don't we all :P include a bodylift in it and all that would set me back around 400 bucks + a longer set of rear shocks. would also mean i could probably fit 30's or 31's underneath it :woohoo: not a bad thought!!
now!, has anyone fitted this to his/her vit?
just after a few opinons here and as i mentioned before, a calmini kit is likely to get the go at a later stage...

commo rear shocks: thread in good tech
front dobbinson struts: PM Dank for good prices
springs: maybe dobinson's again??
bodylift: BYE products in the business directory section

should be able to get a 31 in under all that

smash in some 5.12 diff gears from the 1.6's & enjoy being back to stock gearing with the larger tyres. then proceed to wheel the piss out of it, till the front diff goes boom... job done.

not really, but plenty have used them before... long travel struts are a must IMO.

OME, dobinson, Ironman are the main 3 that do a longer strut. the screw on strut extenders are a bit dodgy to me & offer no extra travel, you can reuse the struts later on with the calmini kit if you go that way. bung in some commy shocks in the rear, there are a few to choose from so you might need to measure up to find some to suit.

i'd still grab a set of 5.12's & bung them in, can get them pretty cheap off hear... usually around $100-150 for a complete diff centre + post. they will make it so much better to drive on & off road with bigger wheels.

i maybe look into that then. and if the diffs are really that cheap then that's a go for sure..i find it pretty slow as it is allready!! let alone puttin 30's on it!
front steel item would be hard to find i guess and not cheap either..seeing everyone else wants them too..

I wheeled my silver one for years on 30's & 31's with the alloy front diff & never broke it, some smart driving & you can get them to live.

yeah, it's easy to shock load them & destroy them... doesn't take much.

the silver one has intermittent electrical issues when it gets heat soaked, i stripped the good bits from it & put it back to stock.... built the blue wagon up & the shorty is a lawn ornament at the moment.
