hi all for a while now i've been noticing a loud click from my jimny when driving terrain. i think it might be the rear shockies over extending? or possibly slamming closed? its hard to say. the click can be heard at 20-21 seconds in this video, which i hope you can open... its a 2" ome lift. cars got 9000 on the clock, only 3000 of that with the lift... https://www.facebook.com/v/10150965108559254" <object width="400" height="224" > <param name="allowfullscreen" value="true" /> <param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always" /> <param name="movie" value="http://www.facebook.com/v/10150965108559254" /> <embed src="http://www.facebook.com/v/10150965108559254" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="400" height="224"> </embed> </object>

Cant play the clip on my phone, but if its the same click im thinking of. Its the strain and force that the radius arm puts on the weak brackets on the diff. During articulation of the suspension.

+1 on the muppet show & failbook
could be the end of the spring making noises on the spring seat, have heard of a few jimnys with this problem. there should be a gap between the very end of the spring & the spring seat.

Yeah I'm tipping springs if it's only happening whilst driving terrain, just check that the spring is seated in the retainer like mentioned above.
On the other hand, if it turns out not to be that, I recently had a sound coming from my rear wheels that sounded like the springs clicking, but was in fact the wheel bearings. Didn't happen constantly, was quite random really, and took me a while to narrow down.

Had a look but cant see much without jacking, and its too dark now. did get one half good photo that bit of clean rubber? is the spring moving round or something? symptom of the problem? had a feel round and the spring seams to go right into the rubber.
