Long motor replaced at 162K by previous owner


It is with great sadness I need to put the Vit up for sale. An expanding family means this much-loved car is now no longer practical for the family needs.

I am hoping to sell this on to another Suzuki nut who will give it that little bit of TLC it needs and continue to enjoy wheeling it hard. This Vitara has the lot and is ready to go. You think of it and it has probably been done.


For example:

ARB bullbar + Warn winch
Custom sliders
Dobinson front springs and struts
TD Gemini rear springs with Gabriel shocks
Near new DBA slotted rotors with Titanium pads
The best bits of a Calmini lift all round, all with near new bushes
3” body lift
31” BFG’s
Upgraded steel front diff with passenger side-to-drivers side CV swap
Dual locked. ARB Airlocker out back and Lockrite on front
Rockhopper low range gearing with custom twin sticks (for 2wd low)
Dual battery kit with upgraded Falcon alternator
Cargo barrier with custom shelving and fridge slide
Roof basket
Custom all leather interior
Longrange tank
Power steering and transmission cooler upgrades
Engineers certificate (hard to get these days!)


It has been used extensively off road so there are a few bodywork blemishes such as a rear tail-light that needs fixing (see pic).
There is also a plastic wheel arch cover missing from a recent snorkel repair.
None of these are an issue in regard to registration. Other than these few bodywork issues it is in great condition considering the hard offroad work it has done.

Not included in the sale will be the UHF and the Twine shower (wife won’t let me give it away!)

How high is the spring lift?

You got a 3" body lift engineered? Didn't think that was ever possible.

Seriously well kitted out car - bunch of stuff I'd take off you if you were parting it out, but that would be a shame.

Hope you find someone who realises what that list is worth.

Hi Fity... sorry for the very late reply.

The spring lift is around 3" give or take a few mm. Lifted Dobinson GV coils in the front and TD Gemini in the back. It rides very nicely, especially with the new bushes in!


DarkHorse... yep, it was engineered back in the days when you could lift it 3".

I am hoping it will sell too someone that does appreciate "the kit". Parting it out would be tragic!
