I found a couple of Joe's last night after posting in here, hadn't found that one though so I'll search more!

That'd be why, I'll go looking through your build threads as well. As I'm trying to do it without having to re-locate the sierra transfer I will probably have to do similar to yours in that both transfers are bolted together. I don't know that it will even be able to be shortened enough to work but it's worth a look I think.

I can't move the sierra transfer because there wouldn't be enough room between the seats for the stick.

with mine setup the way it is, the sierra case would have to be moved back about 2 inches from memory.

Very nice work there.

Also, tanshi, 50mm would keep the stick close enough that it would be doable.

I'd still rather not move it though due to the extra work and cost that would involve and the lack of room. I reckon I'll only bother if I can get it to work without moving the sierra case.
It'd require the vit shifter to be in a different spot though, i seems that where you guys have it is the easiest though or it wouldn't be there would it.

Cool, I won't bother getting the tape measure out then. I figured if you or one of the other hectic fabricators here hadn't done it then it couldn't be done.
I'm guessing you guys may even have toyed with the idea of building your own housing to suit and that it wasn't going to work or be way too awkward so you just worked out how to mod the vit transfer and then move the sierra one to suit? A bloody good job of that you've done too btw, those pictures show a lot of work has been done.
