Hi All.
My first post- yeah, seriously considering new Vitara 3 Door model / Auto, need real life fuel consumption (not diesel model) - mixed mode mostly hwy and some city driving at this stage. Obviously will take her slowly off road when I get confident We have 5 -Door RAV4 driven mostly by my wife and Golf is getting more expensive to maintain so decided going Japanese all the way..

Hi HiTorque We purchased a 5 door 2.4 in Nov last year, so far we are happy with it, we use it for highway use as well as running around town ( we live 16 Klm out ) over the last 3 tank fills (1092.6Klm) it returned 10.24Klm per litre. Over christmas we pulled a camper trailer (offroad type) for 1500Klm we averaged 8.83Klm per litre except for the last 220Klm which was a strong head wind dropping the useage to 7.6Klm per litre.
