fools the TPS into thinking the throttle is in a position it actually isnt in and fools the ecu into adding more fuel or some crap like that

dont bother. waste of time and probably wreck it long term. just like those idiots who put resistors in the IAT probes etc.

It's obviously shit in their reference to the TPS actually being anywhere near the pedal lol.

Fair few Euros have the tps on the pedal

But if you look at their site its obviously some kind of intercept box for fly by wire cars, and some kind of diesel chip, I doubt they would sell you one for your average 2.5 v6 gv

It probably remaps the accelerator pedal so that the throttle opens to 50% in the first 20% of pedal travel. It makes the car feel powerful without actually changing anything. It's a trick used by all the fly-by-wire performance vehicles that have a sports setting for the gearbox to make the car more responsive in sports mode. It's also standard on foldens to make their lame engines seem more powerful - the trouble is, not much happens in the last 80% of pedal!

The drive-by-wire system is designed to prevent you from opening the throttle too fast to prevent NOx spikes from occuring. This tends to make it feel a bit 'laggy'. so now there is a big market for devices like these that remap the throttle to remove the lag.
