Just out of curiosity, can anyone tell me what these four sensors are on top of my Sierra's gearbox?

emissions and reverse.

not sure whats what, but i cut the extra ones off when i put a new gbox in my lwb.

Aha, I thought they could be to do with emissions... with my LPG I can do away with all the emission gear, but i'll wait until I can get a confirm/ID on what they all are

Reverse light uses as read and yellow wire on the sierra loom.

The others are for 4th and 5th gear and neutral(?) in order to control EGR.

Hey Che. Could you tell me if all of the switches are the same? The little rod that pushes in, length, in particular. All 4 of my switches have the loom broken off where it enters the switch. Maybe interested in trading two of your switches with mine for a small fee to you? I just need a reverse and neutral. The switches I have make really good plugs

1, Is part of the AC system, your car or at least the car your gearbox came out of had it.
2, Reverse switch.
3, 5th gear switch.*
4, 4th gear switch.*

*Both are connected to the pollution control module under the glovebox.
