thats the same mob i went through, very quick responses. ordered a bunch of 16inch wheels and a china locker, very easy to deal with, got to choose the offset of the wheels, etc. seem to be good quality too.

Wheels you need to order a minimum of 40 in one size. I've already been through it all.
If you end up getting the large 8 hole style or the fat 5 spoke style in 15x7 -13 let me know. Cost is about $40US per wheels once you factor in all the shipping and duties.

yeah i just asked for the best looken steely they had there. now that i think of it, its probably bead locked, but it looks shmick and if they could get them to me for about 50 bucks a rim i was gona buy 5 old mand was gona buy 12 and we were gona get a few more and flog them. but they want $75+freight with a minimum order of 50.
also when we were at the show, dad was looken at compressors (he is eyen of the arb BFO compressor with the twin motors) but i noticed ever stall (i mean every) was selling this one particular type of compressor. and china 4x4 had it so i asked for a quote and they want 60 bucks each for them (cheepest at the show was $220) each. old boy was all keen till we found out we had to buy 300 of them.
but good chance we will be buying 2 lockers for me, 10 lightforce knock offs, and a few hundred meeters of winch rope (dad has a rope fetish ) in the new year!
i can do a locker for the price it was gona cost to 2 new diffs in so it would be crazy not to!
can some one link me up with info on cromoloy axels idk what they are?
cheers
troy

What if when it blows it locks up.... And you're going at speed(this would lead to the biggest pants shitting of your life) or you're then stuck in the middle of nowhere and can't move.
What if when it blows, it takes the R&P with it?
What if when it blows, it punches a hole in the housing?
Ect.
If you think it's gona die, I'd fix it ASAP. And yeah, we know you have no money (I don't either) but you'l have to spend a lot more later if it does damage.

I did that once way back in 1989 - I can do just one more little trip before I put the new bits in that I had already brought - It blew and I was stuck for 3 days and it cost me $450 by the time it was fixed - Lesson learnt SO FIX IT FIRST

This annoys me a bit. They kept going on about a minimum order of 40 pieces.
I don't have the coin at the moment, I'll try them again when I'm ready.
I'd also love a pair of lockers and some LED bars too. Maybe that might be enough to have them only supply a small quantity of wheels.

had my first problem with my locker last weekend the compressor had a short and when i came back to my car about 2 hours later the compressor was running
it got that hot it seized and it took out the seals on the valve and then its blowen the seals out of the airlocker its self as well not real keen on pulling it all out so it can stay like that untill i feel like going wheeling again
got bigger plans to get my rally sierra drivable

So what failed? Was it a switch, the wiring inside the compressor itself, or something else??
I read somewhere that it was a good idea to pull the wiring of the motors and make sure they were all soldered or crimped well. In my experience it's a true story too. I have found many motors wired bad, even my welder had some pretty shitty wiring inside. My welder had 3"of stripped bare wire hanging from the + welding lead that shorted out the low voltage circuit board.
