Picked up a Jimny bar a while back for a mate, turns out he doesn't want/need it now so for $150 a lil chop here and there and well see how I go, this is what I want to do;
1 - Cut off all the top crap
2 - Cut 55mm out of the top half
3 - Cut the bottom lip off
Then go from there
Might need to cut more in the middle to fit over the intercooler, Let me know what you think.

Yeah I always thought they looked a little bench seat looking, will be trying to keep it a lot more snug at the front, will try and at least halve the amount it usually sticks out by
Also will be keeping the recess where the badge sits and grinding all welds on the inside and out dead smooth, want it too look just like one ARB made like that (can then just tell some that its a custom ARB bar)
Might need four or so hole saw holes in the middle or a slot, might be a bit boring and plain

there's an oxymoron, nothing ARB do would be considered 'custom'.

Ahhhh, gettin there, hove chopped the top off and marked where the front needs to be cut, that's about it
I've bought two more Jimny's in the mean time, so they have been taking up a bit of time, should get more done on the bar this Sunday

New bar is well on it's way, it's just tacked together here though it's all welded up now, just file finishing it smooth
New 15 x 8 -25 rims, offset looks heaps better now, also found some 2nd hand black chrome wheel nuts to suit
Placing a bash plate under the cooler part to

 Looks awesome but with your skills you could have built that bar as it looks nothing like an arb bar lol...

Yeah the tyres are 30x9.5
As for the rear bar ive started fabricating one from scratch, it will join to the tow bar that ive had for a while and will incorporate some tow points
The lift is 90mm rear and a little more up front

I think I may have seen it yesterday on Ney Road towing a trailer. I was heading in the other direction in a Red Jimny and I'm sure we gawked at each other.
