New project time.

I have a stack of high school kids coming in for an "industry visit" next week and I thought I really should prepare something for it.

I have been wanting to make a billet chess set for a couple of years now so I scrounged up some scabby aluminium and started drawing up the pieces.

I have to order some decent material tomorrow and I should have the rest drawn and programmed by the time my material arrives.

These are 2 sample pawns I turned up today. They look a bit shitty as I was playing around with speeds and feeds and had to polish some machine marks out.
