hi guys,

looking at making some rear storage up but dont really have any good ideas of what it should look like. I was thinking of making it out of ply and rapping it in marine carpet or making a metal frame and then putting ply over the top of that with the carpet. Just wondering what you guys have done and how you have made it fit?any pics would be great.

Unfortunately I haven't got any pics but all i did was to bolt some rails along each side of the 'boot' area. Then i got a piece of ply and covered it with carpet. A couple of holes drilled in the rails and the ply, some bolts and you've got a shelf!

The good thing about this shelf was that it was flush with the top of the tailgate so i had (relatively) secure storage.

i would look through the build ups but my internet is so slow that it will take forever. I was kind of hopeing that some of the people who have done it could post up one or two pics of their design and explain a little about how they went about making it all work.

'Sbazz' i was thinking of doing something like yours but with a draw aswell.
