Put my 6.5 gear set in and with all the moving around i snapped off one of the wires for the 4wd light switch. 2 questions. can it be taken out without dropping the oil and if can would it be better yo buy a new one or try and solder the one i got

New ones are cheep and its hard to keep moisture out after soldering.

The wire is most likely broken where it goes into the resin on top of the switch leaving nothiong to solder the wire back onto.
www.suzistore.com.au sell new switches for NT or WT for about $35 delivered I think.
