Sierras, you just need to remove the 4 nuts and it should drop off. It may take some encouragement from a hammer between the studs to loosen rust.

Not sure about Vitaras...

undo the four nuts that hold the drum to the axle. . . leave the five wheel nuts tight, release handbrake(if W/T), kick around tyre.
the additional leverage will break the rust hold pretty quickly..

You can 'gently' tap the face of the drum with a hammer to release any corrosion present, then wiggle it off the handbrake.
