where your front shackle bolts on if it is inline under the chassis its narrow track if it is offset outwards and sits outside of chassis rails it wide track but i bet yours is wt

wt usually have:
square dashes
wide metal flares
and built after 88.5
(i think don't quote me)

As long as its a swb and has a 1.3l engine in it it'll be a wt (wide track)

Someone was telling me the other day that an easy way to tell the difference is the indicators are at the front of the guard on an NT and close to the door on a WT. I'm pretty sure earlier WTs had the indicators at the front too though? :? Did the indicator position change between NT and WT?

If it is 89 or newer, and has a 1.3L it will be a WT.

Interesting theories however it could be anything. I have seen early front clips on WT's so indicator position is not a fool proof way. I have put WT flairs on NT's and WT diffs in 1Litres. But yeah usually 1989 and newer is WT. Post some pics.

Look at the front most or rear most spring hangers.
NT the hangers are directly under the chassis
WT the hangers are offset 50mm outside the chassis rails

It could still be a WT with the hangers directly under the chassis if someone has done a WT/NT conversion.

If it looks as though it'd fall over going around a corner then it's a NT if it looks reletivly stable it's WT
