G'day everyone,

I'm in the process of lifting my 2000 Jimny with a 3" Jimnybits lift kit (and new radius arms). I've got some Kumho KL71's in the pipeline - 31x10.5 R15's.

I'm stumped trying to work out how much negative offset to go for though. From all the forum searches I've done it looks like most go for somewhere between -12 and -19 offset, sometimes more.

I will be building up some front and rear bars and extending the guards so I'm prepared for "body mods". I would also like to minimise the stability loss from raising the beast.

Any pointers appreciated!
Cheers,

the WA jimny dudes are running 15x7 -13... smiffkid on here runs 31s - search the build threads and you should turn his up.

I am running -13 offset with 235 tyres and they sit just inside the gaurds. Minimal scrubbing. I am also running jb 75mm coils and it is stable. I was running 0 offset and it felt tippy.

I would look at running a -18 or so offset as you will be taller again with the tyres.

but again his tyres wont be wider?? helping for stability?
does 31x10.5 will fit 15x7 rims.... or he's better with 15x8 rims?? ... that extra width wont mean a different approach for offset

:?

15x8 -13 is 12mm bigger offset then a 15x7-13

15x7s are fine for 31s but u will want to do some floor mods to fit 31s with only 75mm lift

it looks like I can only get 15x8's with a -19 offset.

This is pretty close to what others run I think. I'm hoping there's not too much interference but I'll have to suck it and see.
