I just got a new clutch put in my 95 WT and a week later blew the motor. I want to pull it out and put it in a 98 LWB Maruti and I'm wondering if it will be a easy swap. The mechanic didn't think so and was being very very slack even after I gave him a deposit. So I went a little crazy at him yesterday and got the deposit back from him.

Thanks in advance.

It has a 1.6 EFI and a 5 speed. Probably should of given these details to begin with.

it will bolt in, providing you used the sierra flywheel in the conversion, and if you have a sierra 5-speed behind your 1.6L you most probably will

Parts books list two different 1.3 clutches but I'm yet to come across it...

I have also heard of the mysterious second input shaft that suzuki fitted to some sierra gearboxes, and I've never seen one with it

I got the car already converted. I'm a butcher by trade and I'm no good at mechanics. I really want to learn so I'm going to get a handy friend around and have a go.
