Hoping someone can answer this question. Im looking at getting the 3 in life kit from calmini. Im guessing ill also need the replacement bush kit. If i order that at the same time will it mean ill have to pay GST ect when i import it? Im worried it will put me over the $1000 limit

I believe that 3" Kit comes with the bush kit.
also not sure about the import taxes. not sure if they will ping me atm. because the kit is 995USD, atm that would equate to about 980 AUD. so we shall see if customs decides to sting me for it in a couple of weeks

I am not sure if Customs include post as the total cost of importing items, might pay to ask Calmini if they can print on the Invoice for just the cost of the kit and separate Invoice for post.
If it's under $1000 you should be ok, I imported a Gas RC Car and including post it came to $980 came through Customs no problem.
Weather car parts come under different rules can't say.

Bugger, I checked the Australian Customs site and they include the post/insurance in the total price.

Well it looks like kit is in australia and is on its way to ballarat going by the tracking info. Although it looks like they might have lost one of the boxes. Im really happy with how quickly this kit is arriving.

So whats the downside to the calmini kit? Loss of comfort , less stable on highway?

In my SWB it is a little harder ride, but it feels more like a go kart, no real downside.

Don't bother, I don't run mine and it drives fine, but I do have the Calmini steering stabilizer.
