Ok, so after I installed my 2 inch OME lift, I've noticed that the steering wheel is off centre and the front drivers side tyres rubs on the spring on full lock.

I understand this is caused by the drag link being raised and in turn shortening the length causing these probs. And I have a 3 inch extended pitman arm here to go on if needed.

However holding the extended pitman arm up to the stock one, its looks alot longer than needed, it will almost put the draglink below the tie rod.

Should I just put it on and see how it goes, or I've heard of another method of centering the steering wheel, then removing the existing pitman arm, straighten the tyres up, then re-install the pitman arm, so all its really doing is moving the arm over a few splines. Or is this bad practice?

I also have a set of extended shackles I may put on if I do use the extended pitman arm and it turns out to be too long to raise it a lil more (along with some castor plates)

Any advice would be great...

do both wheels hit a full lock? or is it only one side? before the lift was the steering wheel in the right position when you were driving straight?
have you had a big hit to one side at any point? what size tyres are you running? where does it rub? how does it rub?
its hard to say without seeing the car. photos?
I have never heard of this problem on a 2" spring lifted car with all stock gear. makes me think there is something wrong/ broken on yours.

Move the pitman arm a few splines.

Perfectly fine.
