"High Performance Hoses" up here at Browns Plains. Did it while I waited,
took him all of 7 minutes.

But they are not ADR compliant.

Whats the compliance on them and what alternate international standards does the ADR allow? you really think all the international car companies make special hoses for Australia?

No. But the little rubber sheaths at the ends are supposed to have the compliance #'s on them. ( atleast thats what I am told)
I would not suggest for one moment that Lowranges' lines are inferior in any way, or not to standard, but that doesn't mean the douchebag dpts over here won't.
I actually have Lowrange lines on my ute

I guess if your brake lines are supplied with relevent ISO paperwork for rubber or braided line and fittings, then there would be no concern, no matter where they were made.

most adr's have relevent international standards they class as complying, IE they are approved as E tick whatever then they are classed as ok
the Australian tag thing is for aftermarket lines, at one point none made over the counter lines were approved except 1 line of Russell braided ones
same with them headlights, if they meet approvals that are classed as acceptable by ADR's then they are ok to use
