Anyone had any experience with them?

Looking at running 29" Extreme Trekkers. I like the pattern on them, seem to be a very aggresive mud tyre. Either that or Maxxis Buckshots.

What do the rest of you Zookers run?

if you like ET's get the silverstone extremes instead.

ETs are very hard in the side wall.

depends what you're going to use them for cause because Simex ET's are on one end of the spectrum and buckshots are at the complete opposite. If your going to beusing them as a daily driver look at some less extreme mud terrains Maxxis bighorns Maxxis trepadors and if u have the $$ Mickey T baja's Just depends how often u hit the roads less traveled

Ahh ok, didnt realise ET's and Buckshots were so varied. It will be a daily driver but being a light car i didnt think it would make a massive difference.

If It's dailyed, and your only going to have one set of tyres, I would strongly advice against the ET like patterns
They wear quick, they kill fuel economy, and the are as noisy as Hell!
If you don't belive me how noisy they are, I'm in Ipswich too and have Silverstone Extremes (very similar), PM me and you can come for a drive in my car with them on

I run 32" ET and I really understand why most tyre advice for on road vehicles is against bias ply.
It squirms around all over the road, feels like crap while turning etc.

They are also noisey as hell.
I do get about 10L/100 km though.

I would advise either get two sets of tyres (one road set and one extreme off road set and swap them over), or get a mild mannered mud tyre of radial construction.

@ Highway_Star

Thanks for the advice, duely noted, had abit of a look at lunch. Maxxis Trepador's look pretty decent from what i've read they are pretty good on the road...

Also, where do you usually wheel in ippy? Ripley?

@ Jdk
i get about 10L/120Km so thats not bad (i'm stock)

At current i'm leaning away form 30"+ atm because i dont want to fork out for crawler gears yet... 29"s should be good on standard gearing correct?

I can vouch for that. Had Tara next to me cruising on the Highway after Glasshouse. Talk about a freight train. 8O

the white lj50 would have been 3cyl from off here
the silver ute would have been Verm1n off here
and the Red softtop could have been Highwaystar

i run 29" federal couragia MT's and they seem to work well in all terrains, including black top as my sierra is my daily, little diggy in sand but apart from that im ahppy with them. in saying that if i was to get a new set of tyers id be getting 30x9.5 maxxis trepadors.
