The LJ80 I am doing up has a F10A fitted to it. The sump sits directly over the front diff, and has been punched up. Another sump came with the purchase, so I want to know if the sump can be reversed for clearance, and the pickup modified to suit? And are there any other issues with this mod?
Cheers

you need to get a sump and pickup from an 800cc LJ engine, that will clear properly

I had a similar problem with the motor I was putting into the LJ I am building. The big dip in the sump for the 4wd oil reservoir was directly over the diff pumkin so we cut the sump an inch from the flange and spun it around. We also had to cut and change the pickup.
Turned out to be a work of art.

So the F8A and the F10A are the same basic block configuration? As in sump holes, size of the sump mating surface, ect.
