Is there anyone on here that's done the conversion, seen the result or have a friend whoos done it maybe?
I'm considering doing it to my zook.....waaay down the line ($$$$!).

Oh, and I don't mean "seen it on the net" either, unless it's a step by step that I can go read. I know trailtough sell a kit, but i'm mainly interested if anyone here has done it.

antts vit had hilux diffs, leaf suspension on the front, standard a frame rear i think., seemed to work ok, bit scary looking.
there's probably photos of antts vit around on OL

which reminds me, here's a video of antts vit at a 4wd comp, with Mandy driving.... link broken love the gear crunches  PS. Bruce, you'll recognise the track, it's the waterfall track at Janowen.

there is one swb that is done near my house, honestly a hair dressor drives it. it lloks trick and i think it actually has hilux or bundera diffs allround.

That vitara video above looks pretty cool. Mines only a SWB, dunno if that'd affect anything.
I'd wanna go coils though if I did it.

but what would be the intended purpose?

Of course mate, i'm not fussed if you wanna know.
In a nut shell, it's be IFS sucks. And I wouldnt mind getting into comps and such down the line somewhere and i'd prefer it be in a zooky.
Intended purpose? Probably a weekend car that can run a bit bigger rubber then what I got.

No worrys bloke  .........just remember a vitara is wider then a hilux so if ya end up going through with it use 60 series diffs

Actually, id only seen the trailtough kit.
I didn't realise that dads bj73 is actually a bundera, so we have a whole spare set of axels/diffs in the shed.
