Good G16B heads are VERY rare Tony. Most people, myself included, hold out looking and then end up buying a brand spanker for $550. |

Yes, $550 for a new, bare head. Not worth looking for second hand IMO. |

OK - Can anyone tell me if the Carby head and the EFI head are the same? |

16A Carby is 8 valve. 16B EFI is 16 valve. Heads and both manifolds are different. You can fit an A head to a B block and visa versa but you will need to fit the corresponding pistons. |

You can fit an 8v head to a 16v bottom end without changing pistons, but a 16v head on 8v block needs a piston swap. Not sure why you would want a carby and 8v head if you already have a 16v though |
