The sad time has come to sell my beloved old Vitara to make way for a big Land Barge for some longer distance touring and heavy towing responsibilities. Its purely a decision based on need rather than want. If I could justify the expense of two 4wds along with the rego, running costs etc I'd probably still keep her. But unfortunately that isn't the case and so the tough decision has had to be made.

Here she is and all the mods that come to mind:

1997 Suzuki Vitara SV420 Short Wheelbase

H27A Engine Conversion (done by Suzistore Perth) - Conversion done at 175,000 km. Donor block came from a low km XL-7 with around 40,000 on the clock (as advised by Suzistore). Car has currently got 207k on the clock.
SV620 V6 Manual Gearbox matched to the H27A Engine
On Board ARB Air Compressor
K&N Panel Filter
New SV620 Radiator
Optima Yellow Top D34/78 Deep Cycle Battery
Redback Extractors (Ceramic Coated)
Pair of IPF 900XS Spotlights (Spot/Spread Combo - Halogen)
2 x Pair Lightforce 170 Striker 35w HID (Genuine)
Irvin Custom Aluminium Bullbar
FTS Snorkle
Extended Braided DOT approved Brake lines
Grand Vitara Mag Wheels x 5
255/70R16 BF Goodrich KM@ Mud Terrain Tyres (Spare 100% Tread, 4 x 80% Tread)
Manual Locking Hubs
Calmini 3" Articulation Lift Kit (Modified with Grand Vitara front springs and spacers to help with V^ engine weight, Custom 3" King Springs in the rear)
Old Man Emu Front Struts
Holden Commodore Rear Gas Shocks (Extended length)
Grand Vitara Steel Front Diff Housing to replace Aluminium Diff which are know to be weak
5.125 Ring and Pinion Gears to correct for larger tyres
ARB Front Diff Locker (No Rear)
Tow Bar
2 1/4 inch exhaust
TSOR Fuel Tank Bash Guard
Poly Rear Coil Helper Air Bags
Custom Tracklander Roof Rack (also comes with pair of Rola Surf Bars)
Rear LED Work/Camp Light
Rear Reversing Spotlight
Milford Cargo Barrier
Custom Drifta Drawer System with fridge slide (to suit 40L fridge) and a removable camp table
Genuine Recaro Front Bucket seats on Geotracker seat mounts imported from the USA
Weather Shields
GME CB TX3540
GME AE4207 CB Aerial
GME CB Speaker Extension
Pioneer MP3/CD Player
Kenwood 2CH Amp (wired for power and input but not connected to speakers. Was used to drive a Sub)
Autron Cruise Control
Autowatch Alarm/Vehicle Immobiliser
Steering Stabiliser
Bush Ranger Flare Extensions
SAAS sports leather steering wheel and boss kit
Custom blue LED dash illumination conversion (which just means the dash lights up blue at night)
Switch Back Daytime Running Lights (DRLs)/Indicators in Bullbar
2 x rear power outlets (for a fridge/camp light etc
Led vehicle bulbs
HID headlight conversion (can be easily converted back to halogen if you wish)

Vehicle has Redline full synthetic oil in diffs, gearbox and transfer.
Run on BP 98 Ultimate.

All original equipment comes with the vehicle ie original front seats, original back seats, seatbelts that were removed for drawer install, all OEM suspension, original alloy diff and ring and pinion gears etc etc. Random spare parts, a 2" body lift kit I never got around to installing and a set of underbody bash plates I never got around to fitting.

All service paperwork, receipts etc included. Most servicing and mechanical work was performed by Suzistore Perth.

*DISCLAIMER* - This car has not been certified by an engineer. Engine conversion, suspension, seats etc would need to be signed off on by an engineer for registration in most states. In WA we don't have annual vehicle inspections which is why it hasn't been a problem as such. Keep this in mind should you consider making an offer. Car is still currently registered in WA with rego next falling due February 2017.

This car has never had a hard life. Yes it's done some beach work, and yes, it's done some 4wding but never anything hard core. No water crossings, minimal mud. The underside and sills have not been all dented in. No rust. Was built up as a small camping tourer. Always thoroughly cleaned down after any off-road outing. Serviced regularly by qualified mechanics. Money was always spent on it when it was needed. Always the best possible gear was bought for it too. Not my daily driver as I had a company work van so most of the Kms on the clock are from highway touring.

That's about all I can think of at this stage.

PRICE is $7500

Keep in mind the engine conversion cost me $11,500 alone.
PM me for any questions etc.

Thanks for looking.
Stuey.
