Hey all, I am seriously considering selling my zook. I don't use it anywhere nearly enough and paying 2 lots of rego, insurance etc is making my wallet sad. $3500. The good: Rare LWB Very rare factory hardtop in very good condition (needs new seal for sunroof, some v'minor chips). Engineered towing A-frame - with paperwork. shelving and drawers in back - can fold flat to allow a normal sized person to sleep full stretched-out. Very large aftermarket fuel tank. Brand not known, dimensios were measured @ 74cm(L)X60cm(D)X31.5cm(H) a year or so ago, but can re-check for anyone interested. new-ish suspension - prev owner put king springs in. Pretty firm, done maybe 20,000 k's. Snorkel 4 New-ish stock sized tyres (maybe a year old, only done about 4000 k's) Freshly sandblasted and powder coated rims - cheap job, but look good. The bad: Auto choke died, now running without (bitch to start and will idle a bit high when warm). Some body damage - See pics in link, will post more detailed ones if people are interested. minor surface rust - not found any serious rust, but haven't looked hard. Old and a bit run-down. Not the original chassis - have the paperwork Currently rego'd but would sell without. Link to an old thread : viewtopic.php?f=4&t=35221 I recently (early Nov) took it on a bit of a camping trip around TAS. Did about 2000k's and it didn't miss a beat. Drove it for the first time since then today, took a few goes to start, but once warm, drove well ![]() EDIT: Decided the original price, while not exactly serious would put people off despite saying "negotiable". |
