hello all, lately with driving the Suki there has been a noise coming from the tail grate were the spare tyre is all the blots are tight and that wat would be the reason for it makeing the noise when driving. (on qld roads) |

Yer mine does the same but seems to go away with the soft top clipped on to the tailgate. |

It's most likely the catch that holds the door shut, they need adjusting from time to time. |

Take your spare wheel off and the squeak will probably disappear. Suzuki bodies aren't the strongest out there and flex quite a bit. Flex means gaps open and close and tend to make noise. |

The spare tyre maybe rubbing on the door. The hinges maybe dry The locking mechanism maybe loose Its your squeak, Find it! We can't find it over the internet!!! |

all fixed now, the srews that hold the spare wheel mount werent up tight enuf |

yeh i did them up with a screw driver then i had a mate do them up with a star drive on a rachit. |

Best bet is too piss them off completely before they strip out or rust and replace them with some nice stainless hex heads or allen key drive bolts. Dan |
