Post subject:  SJ410 Transfer internals

OK slightly related to another thread going ATM, but I wont hijack that thread.

OK its been covered a gazillion times that the early non-4wd light 410 transfer is completely different to the later Sierra cases. What I want to know is if the internals (dont give a flying duck about the outer case) are the same as the internals of an LJ case? ie are 410 shaft and bearing sizes the same as an LJ80 or LJ50?
I know the gearing is a bit different, but thats sort of the point...

No, the LJ transfers are completely different design. Gears wont mix with the Non-light 1.0 case.

Still reckon I can figure something out. I'm thinking LJ rocklobster for anyone who hasn't picked it.
