Post subject:  hub nut socket

i am chasing a 50mm deep socket to do the hub nuts up properly.. previously i have just hammer and chiselled them, but i have a torque wrench so i may as well do it properly.. cant find a 50mm deep dish socket or anything in aus..
dont feel like ordering only a socket from USA :D
anyone got one to sell or know where to get one?

repco or bursons should have them
or better yet get onto ebay and buy a cheap(under $100) 3/4 socket set and then you have all the sizes from 19mm to about 60 mm Armsup

yep 3/4 sockets are great for installing seals and bearings :wink:

worth a look, you will be surprised what you can use huge socket`s for.

I picked up a 50mm socket from the local sunday market for $15. and a 3/4 to 1/2" reducer drive for $5.

Just get your local parts shop to order one

Mine was $35 and the adaptor was $10
