Slightly left field request, but as topic implies, I need a photo of a Grand Vitara (equipped with steel housing) RHS inner driveshaft pic, where the splines go into the diff center. I'm going to try to compare it to my existing early model Vitara driveshaft in order to systematically problem solve the issue I'm having with a driveshaft that keep pulling out of my front axle housing. I'm particularly interested in the placement of the circlip on the end of the shaft (that is if the GV shafts even have them). Any help appreciated. Thanks. EDIT: To elaborate I'm trying to determine what differences there are between them, if they are interchangeable despite different part numbers etc. My SV420 driveshaft is not staying locked in to the diff (ARB Locker installed if that counts for anything) and keeps pulling out by a good inch or so as if the circlip is not locking in. However I'm using a steel GV housing. I'm wondering if the nylon bush I installed (see my build up thread) is preventing the shaft being pushed in to the housing far enough. |
