| Post subject: | Transfer case jumping out of gear |
Took Spooky over to Strady Island to try some beach driving. Lots of soft sand and stuck larger 4wds. Got bogged twice myself.  Finally worked out that the transfer case was jumping from 4H to neutral all by itself as I hit the real soft sand. Is it time for an overhaul or is there a quick fix for this problem?

Have you got a body lift? When i put mine in mine was jumping out of 4L into N, but i just trimmed my transfer tunnel. |

Spooky is a stock standard 90 Sierra other than the 1.6L engine. |
