just wondering i am about to do an engine conversion putting a 1.6 carby in my sierra i have heard you need to put the 1.3 sump on the 1.6 because there isn't enough clearance, i have a spoa lift do you think i will be able to fit the 1.6 sump or will i still need to change them over?

That depends a bit on how your SPOA is set up, but there's normally plenty of room to use the 1.6 sump.

I've seen some very low and unbumpstopped spoa's with 1.6 sumps.

There's cutting and welding involved in swapping the oil pickup over.

Good point shep - RUF, for instance, helps a lot.
